Exciting day for the reserves and seniors

18 Jun 2016 by Peter Groidis

Today the senior side stamped themselves as top 3 contenders with a great 5-0 win over Altona East.
Steve Gustus was given his senior debut in division 1 after electing to stay with the club and not leave with the rest of the reserve squad. Always a tremendous talent, it was great to see him also pick up the best a field as selected by the supporters.

While it was great to see the senior team win, the most exciting part of the day was seeing the reserves win their first game under new coach Paul Sampson. Another not to leave with frank. it’s great to see the new Bulls take shape and demolish East Altona 5-1.
The club saw a new wave of youngsters from the u16 team play their first game over open age football in the reserves and I’m sure many parents are proud. Alistair, Hayden and Liam did an exceptional job from the u16 team with the later scoring a great goal from 18yds.

Overall, great day and hope to see you at our next game.
