Whatever you want to call it, the old blokes are putting the team together again in 2019.

G’day Gents,

It is time for the Masters to get together and start our prep for the 2019 season. As usual, the competition will be played on Sundays*. Home games and training will be held at Banyule Flats Reserve. Age eligibility stipulates that all players must be 35 years old as at 1 Jan 2019. Registration fees are around $500 for the season, I will confirm this and let you all know the exact figure.

*If we can reach consensus; game times and even home game days can be negotiated with Football Victoria.

Our strip supplier for 2019 is Legea. The game day strip will be held by the club. Each player will be provided with a training/away strip, 2 x white socks, 2 x white shorts and training jumper.

If you have friends who are keen to play this season please pass this email on to them and bring them down to training. I will provide training times in the next week or so. The masters team will need between 18-22 players to ensure that we can field a team all the way through the season. This will allow for players missing games due to attending their kids games, family and work commitments and injury.

It is the clubs 50th anniversary this season and should be a great year. I am looking forward to the season starting and I am guessing that after Christmas, we all need the exercise : )
